Which "trio" do you like best?

So I was thinking earlier today that the KH series has a lot of trios (like Sora, Riku, and Kairi, Axel, Roxas, and Xion, Terra, Aqua, and Ven, and even Hayner, Pence, and Olette). So, which trio is your favorite?

My favorite is definitely Terra/Aqua/Ven. They went through the most development, in my opinion. And I love how everything they do they do to protect each other. It's honestly really sweet and adorable how much they care for one another. I think if/when a reunion happens between them, I'm definitely going to cry.

Roxas/Axel/Xion comes in a close second, though. Their friendship is just so simple and carefree (for the most part, anyway).

What about you guys?

Well I think that Terra/Aqua/Ven trio was a close-knit group... but Axel/Roxas/Xion seemed more Innocent or lost in a way (I liked it in days when Roxas and Xion asked Axel about love, and was at a loss with words, being that they were nobodies)

I'm very torn between Sora, Riku, and Kairi (SRK for the purposes of this post) and Aqua, Ven, and Terra (TAV).

SRK is of course the original KH trio. The love triangle that you've got going on is very fun, and I think each character to character relationship is very interesting--childhood friends that probably have feelings for one another (Sora & Kairi, sorry for SoKai haters, but c'mon. It's nearly canon), brother to sister (how I've always felt the Riku & Kairi relationship ultimately is), and friend/rival to friend/rival.

TAV is a newer favorite, but I think they're beaten out by SRK for one rather major reason: Ven. I'm sorry but I just really dislike Ven, he's just some little kid that's always trying to tag along and just generally being annoying. And getting in the way of Terra & Aqua's clear passionate romance. >:3 I think Aqua Terra is very very interesting to explore, probably my second favorite KH pairing. In game it's an excellent relationship even if you take away my shipping. But I love to ship them as a kind of angst romance sort of thing (I love angst romance, honestly), with the guilt of Terra falling to the darkness on Aqua, and the guilt of failing Aqua in a way on Terra. So much angst. :B Ven just kind of gets in the way for me.

I think my focus on KH has kind of changed from "wow these games are great" to "wow these games are great now who can I ship." ._. too much fanfiction maybe.

I'm going with Sora/Riku/Kairi on this one.

Sora/Riku/Kairi are the original three. They're the ones that started it all for me. Their relationships toward one another have been the subject of many a fan-fiction. I've always seen Sora and Riku's relationship as that of brothers trying to out-do one another for the attention of a girl (at least in the first game). Riku strikes me as the older brother figure for Sora and Kairi, especially in the second game. Sora/Kairi could be seen as a sibling thing or as a potential relationship in the making (which is the one I see the most often). Yes, I support So/Kai. So/Ku just scares the living crap outta me because, since I view their relationship as brotherly, it's incestuous to me.

Ventus/Terra/Aqua comes in at a close second for me. There is a lot of angst going on between these three. Like Riku, I view Terra as the older brother figure for the other two characters (mostly toward Ventus). Aqua is like a doting older sister who does end up crossing a line or two in her determination to make things right again between the three of them. Ventus, similar to Sora, is pretty innocent about how the world works and just wants to spend time with his best friends, but ends up getting dragged through the mud by a bunch of other crap he had no control over. I do hope their is a reunion in their nearing future.

I did like Hanyer/Pence/Olette, but I wish their was more to their trio-relationship for me to go by. What I have seen I like though.

Roxas/Axel/Xion I don't like. At all. No offense toward other people who like this trio, but the friendship was perfectly fine just being Roxas and Axel (not in a shipping kind of manner either).

But I'm more of T/A/V fan. I think their personalities are much more interesting than S/R/K. Not to mention, Ven is in it, which automatically makes it awesome...

R/A/X is pretty corny to me. Though their story's are 'sad', I just don't like Xion. Or Roxas (VEN RIPOFF). Axel is okay, but he's sort of annoying, especially in CoM. Hayner and co are pretty boring, but they're ok I suppose.

I have to go with Sora/Riku/Kairi for this just because that was the trio that made me fall in love with this series. The other trios have their appeals, but for me it's always gonna come down to the ones who started my love for kingdom hearts.

I honestly love roxas xion and axel i think through their story they grew hearts of their own and i also became a roxas x xion fan from watching the story but i still like roxas x namine too. And now i know roxas xion and axels whole story. The sad part was watching xion fade away but its a relief that roxas remembered her. Thats y i love them. "Got it memorized"? lol

Ventus, Terra, and Aqua primarily since they had the most heartbreaking relationship and ending ever. Granted, Xion's ending was also fairly heartbreaking, but knowing that they don't have hearts kinda saps the fun out of it since you know they're not really sad about it. They just look like they are.

For sure sora riku kairi cause they made the games the conflict with rikus anger, the love between sora and kairi, and soras sudden responsibility for they world and his burst of courage is beautifull
