Come to think of it, that is kind of freaky. Who knew that this game could actually mess up someone's mind?
Okay, so I got bored the other day and started to browse through the Kingdom Hearts TvTropes page just to see if I could find anything I didn't know or to see different aspects of the series in a new light. What I ended up doing was biting off a little more than I could chew.
Until I started reading this article, I never really realized just how warped / twisted the series has the potential to be. I'm only about half-way through it, but some of the stuff is leaving me wondering just what's going on here.
There is a link somewhere in there to a badly translated version of the KHII manga that goes to about halfway through the fifth book. I know the manga kinda stands on its own in comparison to the original / canon games, but they're pretty twisted in their own right.
And the number of times that the number 13 appears in the entire series is a little weird. I'm not sure if it's coincidental or not, but it's a little creepy in of itself. LINK And that list doesn't even include the number of songs that are called "The 13th _____".
As a result, I'm replaying the second game just to see if it seems any different to me after reading all of this.
The main reason I'm posting this thread is an attempt to bring about some activity here.
Anyway, am I the only one who's gone through this entire series thus far without having any potential nightmares or being scared even just a little bit?

Apparently it can.
So either I'm more oblivious than Sora or these people are incredibly easy to scare.

For me, the only thing that really qualified as "Nightmare Fuel" was Halloween Town back when I first played the game as a kid. Those Shadows just came out of nowhere! I thought I was done with all the enemies, and then some random enemy slashes me from behind! It was so freaky, dude!
...I was able to get past it when I actually played the game all the way through a couple years later, and by then I'd figured out that I just needed to adjust the brightness/contrast on my TV.
